Description: My brother, my son and I were still awake and sitting around the campfire. While I was telling a boring story, my son stared off into the sky and noticed what appeared to be a very large star. Then he noticed that it was moving and told us to look.
It looked like a star, but was 2-3 larger than any star in the sky. The lowest any of us had seen it was at one hand length (arm outstretched) above the horizon, directly to the west of us. It appeared to ascend more or less straight up, as it was growing smaller as it ascended. The speed and trajectory, to me at least, resembled that of a space shuttle take-off; it almost seemed to be curving into a southwest trajectory, however to my son and brother it appeared to be going straight up. It climbed at a steady pace and rose quite high, until it was as small as the smallest stars in the sky that were still clearly visible. Our estimation is that the ascent took approximately 1-2 minutes before it achieved its peak height.

Full Description of event/sighting: The craft came out of a cloud and it was moving slowly to the north then it just stopped and sat there for awhile. It change directions and started to go east towards the airport and stop again. It was about 10,000 feet up then it just vanished into the blue sky. There were hardly any clouds out.

Full Description of event/sighting: 14:00 - Was sitting in my living room watching TV. During the commercials I glanced out my windows at the western sky and noticed what appeared to be a black object hovering over New Westminster or perhaps the Fraser river. I grabbed my binoculars to check it out and to my surprise it appeared to be a Killer whale or Orca swimming in the air. I ran and grabbed my Video camera and went out on my deck. It took me a few minutes to locate the object again as it had moved quite aways further west. I managed to get about 5 minutes on video which I then transferred to DVD. I'd hoped to send it to you but so far have been unable to figure out how to E-mail it. I've showed it to our visitors from Australia but like me they are just not sure as it appears to change shape as it moves. It appears to be at about 2000 to 3000 feet in altitude and about the size of a small single engine plane. It may have been a balloon but it seemed kind of strange for something that size to be floating near the approach to the N. runway at YVR. It vanished shortly after I stopped taping it.

Hi Brian, just before work, I was out taking shots of the great clouds in the sky this evening and saw a disc like object and quickly snapped a picture. July 15th 7pm, around 30th Ave. I have attached the original picture and have also attached a picture of it zoomed. The object appeared to be a silvery coloured, but appeared a bit rust coloured as well. It looked sort of like a disc, but with the edges slightly turned up.I managed to get one picture, and then it was gone. Your welcomed to post this if you like :)

Full Description of event/sighting: Earlier afternoon I had finished lunch and went out on deck to smoke and I thought wow, what a eerie looking cloud. It was a perfect almond shape and it did not move like the other clouds were. It was windy. It was very larger like football field size and it was fairly low. Inside the cloud seem a slight darker shade. I thought what the heck now, "they can camouflage themselves". I went back in the house and carried on knowing it was probably one of them again.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was camping At Stave Lake with some friends last night with some friends. At about 1:00 AM everybody went to there tents for some sleep. Me and my friend didn't want to sleep so we started talking. My friend was outside by the fire, by himself. I have to point out that the Stave Lake Flats (or what wasn't underwater) is in a valley with mountains to the East and West, but you can see South to North for an extremely far distance. Between the times of 2:00-3:00 AM I looked through the top of my tent at the stars, and in the corner of my eye to the left (South) was a bright light. This light caught my attention because at first I thought it was a shooting star. But it wasn't moving that fast (or so I thought) The light bigger and brighter and eventually I started to see some definition in the light. But it wasn't just one light. To my surprise it was an almost stereotypical flying saucer. It had a large light in the center with either 6 or 8 little lights in a circle around the main center light. At first I thought that the bug net on the top of my tent so I zipped open the door and looked up and it was even clearer than before.

HBCC UFO Research: Major Problems With My Back

Just a quick note from myself, Brian Vike Director of HBCC UFO Research. As many of you know who visit the website and know me, my back has been given me alot of trouble. My back has been really bad for the last while, so yesterday I went to my doctor and he sent me for a normal X-Ray, Looks like I do have some major problems as the disk is not showing and the bones are rubbing against one another, and in another spot it appears that there are more problems. So this is making it very hard for me to walk around at this time. Appointment is being set up for me to go to Prince George for another CT Scan and then a surgeon will determine which course to go. As I mentioned, I will be posting reports this coming week, but a little at a time.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was standing outside on my deck around 7:00pm. I noticed an unusual looking craft going north to south on 7/14. It was interesting because it was darker than most aircraft; it didn't have lights, and made no sound. It flew into a cloud and never came out. The cloud was positioned in such a way that I could not have missed an exit. It never did and the cloud dissipated and the craft and cloud was gone. If you have a logical explanation I'd love to hear it.

Shape of objects: Just a variable point of light.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was looking up at the sky watching for satellites on our rural property on the island. It was a calm night with no clouds. I had about a 90 degree field of vision of the sky, standing in a clearing in the trees. The light in question moved in a straight line from the trees on one side of me to those on the other, far faster than a satellite, but not nearly as fast as a shooting star, i.e. about the speed of a relatively low jet. However it didn't have blinking lights. Instead it had one fairly bright orangish light that slowly grew in intensity and faded like a dimmer switch being turned, pulsing slowly this way about six or seven times in the distance I saw it. Also there was no sound produced by the light. I had seen jets travel across that space at night before and no matter how high they were, the sound was obvious. This had no sound at all, and the night was so calm there was no sound to obscure it from the leaves in the trees. I think it took the light about ten seconds to travel across my field of vision.

Shape of objects: 3 different shapes; circular and triangular.
Full Description of event/sighting: Initially I saw a whitish coloured sphere slightly bigger than a star moving unusually slowly across the sky, it continued in it's path without burning out, it most definitely wasn't a shooting star. We saw about 6 of these objects throughout the course of the sighting in various points in the sky, sometimes moving in pairs. I can't definitely say it wasn't the same two reappearing in different areas of the sky.
We were attempting remain unbiased at this point as I didn't consider it to be absolute proof. After the first sighting we moved to a clearer area which allowed us to view a larger expanse of sky; the city where we witnessed this from has a very high altitude, it is in fact almost at the top of a mountain and the sky was extremely clear, no clouds.

Description: Strange Grey Chupacabra Creature Spotted in Holly Michigan. On Saturday July 5, 2008 at approximately 4:41 AM, I witnessed a strange creature as I drove south on N. Holly Road towards Holly Michigan. This event lasted 9-10 seconds. This incident occurred when I was under a mile away from Grange Hall Road. I was coming back from dropping off a volunteer that I work with at an art center in Davison. I didn't drink anything and wasn't on any medication or illegal drugs. I was drinking soda and I didn't feel that tired even though it was late. My speed was slower than the posted limit, about 45 on mph, and my brights on. I do this so I can be prepared when a deer decides to cross my path. No other vehicles were present.

Hi, I was out fishing at approximately 4:30 AM, the sun was coming up, and I could no longer see stars, but it was still somewhat dark. My flies got tangled up and I looked up at them. At the same time, I saw a bright white object in the sky, approximately 5x the size of the North Star.
It made it's way South East, traversing 3/4 of the sky in approximately 2-3 minutes. At this point, it stopped and began to disappear, as if going directly away from my line of sight, until it vanished approximately 3-5 minutes later. Regards.

Description: From my living room I saw a light in the distance. At first I thought it was police helicopter with the searchlight on. But the light wasn't the normal bright white light, it was orange/silver. My wife and I went to an upstairs window to get a better look. The light was traveling in a south west direction at what I would guess as the same speed as a light aircraft. The light itself was a bright glow similar to that of a flare but constant, not flickering and not lighting up the sky around it.

There was very little traffic and the sky was clear and quite bright with moonlight. I was 'over taken' by a low flying bright green sphere. It was going extremely fast, creating a streak of green and the trajectory was parallel to the ground. It passed by in an instance. If I had seen the exhaust pipe of an airplane there would have been a big noise - but there was nothing.

Hello, A very strange-looking cloud was seen by many people from the Waterfront Park area of Kelowna while looking toward the Knox Mountain area this evening around 9:00 p.m. (Sunday, July 13, 2008). Several people took photos of it and many people commented on how they had never seen anything like it...they said it was as if a UFO was inside of it. Even though the wind was blowing quite strongly, the cloud did not change its shape or move at all for several minutes--which was very odd. Then, quite quickly (within 30 seconds or so), its form began to dissipate. Within a couple of minutes, it was a much smaller cloud, blending in with others.

Full Description of event/sighting: Understand this, I did not "see" a UFO, only the lights from above. But it was the sound that I heard that convinced me because this is something I've never seen or heard. I woke up around 2:50am to a rain shower. It was raining pretty steadily, and I was laying in bed with my boyfriend when all of a sudden there was a bright light that flashed through my window. I immediately assumed it was lightning, so I opened my eyes and waited to hear the thunder, which I never heard. What I did hear when that first light flashed was a low lying hum that died off almost immediately after the light flashed. I thought maybe it could have been a transformer that blew, but we had total power in our house. After about a minute the light flashed again and I sat up, at this point scared, because my eyes were opened and realized it wasn't lightning. That hum came right after the light. I got out of bed and went to my window and waited. After about 2 minutes I got back into bed when again, this light flashed and then the hum, and I got up again and opened my blinds and convinced myself to wait there to see if it would happen again.

Full Description of event/sighting: I have been looking for information on an event that happened to my husband and I in the early 90's.(I think 1993) We were stationed at Ramstein AB and lived in a small village off base. We had just come home from the commissary and were carrying groceries up the 3 flights of stairs to our apartment. We had just reached the top floor and were unlocking our door, got the lights on, when our power seemed to just hum off? It was really strange as it sounded as if the power grid had run down. We lived in this village for 12 years and this was the only time I can ever remember there being a power outage. (The lines were run underground so weather was never a factor).

Full Description of event/sighting: This was about 2 winters ago (December 2006) about 6:00pm. I was driving down a hill towards home after work. The road was somewhat slippery. Suddenly there as a swirl of red, white and blue lights around me. I thought, "Oh, Oh! A policeman wants me to pull over for a sobriety test." It was a few days before Christmas. I thought it was a strange place to pull me over as there were no side roads or shoulder at this steep corner. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw no policeman. I looked for a house with Christmas lights-maybe. No house nearby. Then I thought, "I'm having a stroke." And I didn't want to go off the bank or into another car. I thought, "how can I be so lucid and calm if I'm having a stroke?".No panic, just a great desire to be safe. Got home and lived thru everything.

The Object had no lights and was only exhibiting the appearance of a star.

Description: I was walking with my friend going towards the swimming baths when I noticed this huge orange cigar shaped object motionless ahead, as we started walking towards it, it started moving very slowly forwards,it then stopped and shot backwards and then again motionless, by this time we were very frightened and tried to hide as it felt as if we were being watched.it continued to make angular sharp turns and then finally started to drift slowly in its original direction.while it was there I didn't see any cars passing,but when we got to the swimming baths I got some adults to come and look outside, they didn't know what it was but didn't show much interest.

Description: I live in Eagle Geln and taking my puppy out when I saw a bright white light so white it looked blue moving erratically and then disappearing. Would then reappear it also looks like it would land and turn off it lights. Sometime the light would turn red. It was not an aircraft or helicopter as nothing could move that way. I viewed this for about 5 minutes and called my husband and mother. I thought it had disappeared for good but it reappeared about 10 minutes later. I found my RCA small wonder camera and begin to film but it was about 3 or 4 miles away and the camera is kind of cheap and it looked further away than what was filmed.

Description: Just pulled up in my car at home when my neighbor called me over. We stood and looked in complete amazement. The objects were traveling from the West-North-West,heading towards East-South-East. The ten objects were traveling in a straight line occasionally crossing over or veering to one side. These objects were very bright and circular in shape, traveling at high speed under the cloud base no noise very quiet. We all saw this and it was as clear as a bell.There was no signs of flashing or other lighting associated with aircraft.

Description: I was walking back from the shop about 9:50pm when I glanced up and saw at first what I thought was a flock of birds. I took another few looks and noticed an orange light on at least two of them. They made no sound whatsoever and were moving quite fast. I raced home and called my wife to see them too and she is still somewhat freaked out at what she saw as has always been a realist and found an explanation for things. They were heading towards Leicester City Centre so surely someone else must have seen them? We live 15 miles from East Midlands airport and are used to planes, these were not engine craft, they seemed to glide. Did anyone else notice these "crafts" as well?

Description: Golden orb slowing moving right, then the loud sound of an aircraft looking like a small plane, though second witness believes it was a helicopter. Plane/helicopter shot across the sky from left to right, it had a bright blue light, second witness believes it was green however. It made a thunder like sound and moved extremely fast across the sky passing the golden orb. Orb then moves left at a similar speed, drifts for a few seconds before flickering and becoming smaller, then disappearing all together.

Description: Noticed a bright point of light through the window above roof level. Went outside and noticed there were two lights. Both where white with a red centre, moving slowly across the bay about two miles from my house, with no sound at all. Both lights then came towards each other until they were both at the same height, then stopped still at the exact same height in the sky for 2-3 min. Both lights then moved off towards Marazion whilst rising in altitude, both lights faded in brightness and vanished as though fading out.

Description: We were sitting in a pub garden when my friend pointed at a shape in the sky towards the south. At first I didn't notice anything very unusual, but after a few seconds I could make out what appeared to be 2 shapes traveling in a straight line across the horizon from east to west, I say 2 shapes but that is really a guess, as it looked like just a round shape with a blob on either side, and the blobs were shrinking and growing as well as moving around the circle in a clockwise motion. Imagine a sphere with 2 smaller globes attached, and the sphere is spinning so the globes are going around it. It was quite far away and hard to make out, this is the best description I can give. It definitely appeared to be like nothing I have seen before in the skies.
